Hey Everyone!
Yea! I'm finally in, thanks to Mel.
New to Melswebs. Sort-of new to being comfortable in my skin.
I'm 44, but have only accepted myself since last December. Have been enjoying the PEACE and freedom since then.
Just wanted to say "hello" to everyone.

deep south
Alli,
I'm about as deep in the south as you can get. Didn't start here, but find myself here teaching on a college campus.
I've enjoyed the stories for about a year. Like most others, am really enjoying the Trace and Amarillo. Can't wait to read what happens next.

Grins at Noni...mature? Well I guess you could call us that. Welcome aboard Outdoors. Some of us need some prompting to keep us motivated so keep reminding us to find time to write. Hint, hint Noni. LMAO

English prof?
Alli,
Uh...absolutely not. I had to take English 097 my freshman year in college, 'cuz I didn't score high enough on the placement exam.
My parents can't believe that I actually completed my PhD, but that is another topic for another day.
You and all the others can keep writing as you always have. _________________ Outdoors

So as a non-English-majoring PhD student, I'm curious -- what is your academic field (if I may ask)?
