periods of nothing
do you ever have period in your life - a month, a few weeks, a few months maybe - where you're waiting for the next chapter to start and in the meantime one is just closing? What do you do with yourself between times like that?
I fill my world up with so much to do that I generally dont have time to think and suddenly today I have huge chunk of time in front of me that I have to fill with something. I dont have cash to spend on things like travel, and I don't want to spend my summer re-learning how to knit. It's too hot here to be outside from June-August.
Any neat hobbies out there? _________________ "You can't kiss and keep your eyes open, they'll cross forever" - Rubyfruit Jungle

Might not take you long but go through your cds, playing them, downloading some to your computer and sending some on to thrift...
It's a nice way to spend some time and all those lil jobs add up.

smiles chordy,
could u get a copy of any work by Spinelli, i like 'the interpreted world' - if you haven't read him already, read up on existential angst Irvin Yalom i like too, might not be your thing, but basically catch up on your reading, lol - there are ways to get books cheaply, like - libraries, second hand / charity shops - also there might be bookswap schemes local to you..
the other thing is maybe do tarot readings, get people to come to you...
start a meditation group?
the other thing is volunteer schemes across summer, buddying young people, foster children mentoring, take older people out on day trips, that kind of thing...
god, i think i have a problem not 'doing' - as well... this is close to MY list, of what i would do if i had some 'spare' time between chapters...
i would also suggest rest, as well... u might need it before next chapter...
