Our friend Slacko
My fellow aussie, Slacko, arrived here in Perth this morning and in a few minutes we will meet up after being online friends for nearly 4 years.
She is about to embark on a feat that most of us would find hard thinking about, much less actually doing. She will ride her pushbike from Scarborough, on the coast of Western Australia all the way to Scarborough in Queensland. Here is a link to her website where you can keep track of this amazing journey, you just need to add the http://www. in front first. Its really well worth a look to see what is involved.

Just thought I would update this for you all. At this stage Slacko is having a few well earned rest days in Port Augusta, having biked over 2,200kms so far! She is now halfway through her epic bike ride with no major problems as yet.
Plus she was four days ahead of schedule.
Slacko, you are amazing my friend, keep pedalling.

Yer guys - feel free to go read what I have been doing for the last 6 weeks on my website:- www.brendanoonan-onmybike.com
I'm still coming down to earth - didn't ride my bike yesterday - but think I will go for a wee spin this afternoon!!!!
Cheers - Slacko
PS - I have a fair bit of updating and changing to do to my website as I deviated from "my plan" a bit. This will be done over the next week or so!! _________________ If you don't have a dream, how are you going to have a dream come true??
