I Loved a Girl

She cried in my arms, on my words
I told her she’s immature, just a spoiled little girl
While blurry rain was falling over my dreams

Oh and she asked me, she asked me
Am I Polish, what’s the color of Monday, do I like rainbow?
Everything, she asked me everything
And I, I thought she’s to immature to understand my answers

Blurry rain was falling and she was sitting
Amazingly white in darkness
Reading the book she always cared with her
Oh how I’ve wanted her eyes to look at me and for her long, pail, fingers to touch me
And silently asked me "do you love me?"
And I, I turned my head on the other side, let the words stay in my thought

She try away her years on the floor
Her lips were uneaten cherry
I was touching her knees while we were lying on the sand
She laughed so beautiful, so innocent
And her laughter hurt like curse
Oh, on those blurry heavy rains,
And empty autumn, her autumn

She was talking about moves, about Marilyn Monroe
With melancholy about Elvis
And I can’t forget the smell of her hair wind cared try the air that day
She kissed me all night long, hugging me, but I swear nothing else happened

And she asked me, she asked me do I have brother,
Why do I like ice cream, how can I understand Dante’s songs?
Everything, she asked me everything
And I, I just laughed, I thought she’s to young to understand my answers

Some silent came across her, for hours she didn’t speak
I could cleared out Spinosa if I’d want to
I could die with my head on her breasts
In silent, completely lost in her embrace
All alone in her arms

With so much tenderness her chest rises and falls
Her heart beaded with some strange seductive melody
And she didn’t say a word, like she was waiting for life to paint her
On the paper of blurry rains

And she asked me, she asked me do I believe in angels
Have I ever reached the moon, do I like roses?
Everything, she asked me everything
And I, I was to tired to tell her the answer

Blurry, heavy rain was falling, and she was sitting
Amazingly white in darkness
Raised her eyes and silently asked me
"Do you love me?"
And I, I could not say a word

Omg, that's good. it needs cleaning up, spelling-wise, but the style and the images are stellar. Wonderful stuff, Milla.

Very romantic! And, the words give wonderful imagery! Although (as has been said) it needs a bit of polishing-up, spelling wise, this is still one of the best poems i've read in a long while... and i'm in a literature class for goodness sake! So, there's no doubt to me that you're good; you're real good Wink
