I am your mirror
look into my eyes
you will see yourself
the you you have forgotten
other parts of you you never knew of
you are a woman whole
sumptuous, curvaceous, gorgeous, desirable, beautiful
heart, body, spirit, mind and soul
child bearer
but lover too
look into my eyes
and you will see the you I love
the you who has become a part of me
who flows in and out with my breath
who calms and fills my being in tender quiet moments
the woman who makes me cry from utter beauty
the woman who pulls my insides out
the woman that fills my mind
the woman whose body owns mine absolute
whose hand fits mine
whose lips, whose mouth, transport me to nirvana
unparalleled
can you imagine what you are
if I see all those things, and so much more
in you
yes, look into my eyes

You have a joyous way with words Ashelita, I truly adore the honesty and the love that you have poured out in this poem. It is a write that makes one think "I wish someone felt that way about me".

thanks Noni - though I cannot take full credit for any of my writings, as I usually write from emotions/feelings and thus my words only exist because some external element (especially a special woman) creates an inspiration in me, this feeling they invoke in me makes me need to analyse and/or capture it and express it outside of me, someone or something else is responsible for driving my words, without them I would have no words........ _________________ "You'll never be able to dance unless you hear your own music .......... the words on your lips must reflect the truth of your heart.
