Let it Blossom
One finger by two your hand against mine indiscreet kiss
a soft push against skin that whispers “Let it bloom
Let it shine, let it like sunrise against your smoothness”
In soft playful enjoyment, the softest of moments
Under smiles of Aphrodite-toned sun rays
It is the indirect touch when a thumb casually runs over mine
My cheeks rise in rose-like blushes
I barely know the beauty that has the honor of this intimacy
And yet, sweet words of an artist with depths of Titan’s reign
The aloof jewel holding my hand, close to whatever heaven is all over again
Take me back to Elysia with your lips upon my cheek once more
And let me feel my body laced within the sun and heaven double
So I shall come back, blinded
Two fingers by one, a grasp held tight as I kiss your hand
Color rising in your cheeks as my mind whispers
“Let it bloom, let it shine, let it like sunrise upon your face” _________________ “It would be a pity of lesbians and gay men retreated into the same kind of cultural separatism. " - Jeanette Winterson
