To My Precious Wife
The pendulum swings with the stroke of mine brush
Mercilessly like time it strikes the canvas
The sweet calm I savor with each new picturesque hue I paint
I never recall claiming to be an angel or saint
Yet in this very tender moment of mine
I relish and savor that which is graciously divine
I may never earn my own pair of wings
Or always deserve the precious gifts Karma doeth bring
Bringing forth all that is us all that is now
How I wish I could suspend the clock after we took our vows
To you my precious wife, my beginning mine end and all that is there after
You have stolen my heart with your love and my soul you did capture
