First off WoooHooo! I'm real happy to have found a forum for books. I really love to read. My higest recomodation has to be for From the Ashes by Meghan Brunner. It is truly and amazing book. A wonderful engaging plot that made me laugh, sigh, and cry. Characters that I wish I could meet and hug for being so wonderful or alternaly kick the tar out of for driving me crazy. To top it off she has wonderful settings that I wish I could go to with songs I wish I can hear. The price, at least at Amazon.com, may be a little steep to some. But the book is huge!! 560 pages, all of them worth every cent. Plus the sequel, which I have yet to read, is already out.( I'm still savoring the fact that I have the book, you can only read it for the first time once after all.) It truly is one of the best books of any genre that I have read.
