Morals..
Don't attack me
With your morals
With your religion
You can't change me
You won't change me
Because you don't know me
You don't know
That the love I feel for her
Is true from the heart
And it's the best thing
I've ever felt
My whole life
And
Don't tell me
That it's a sin
For me to love her
Because I'll throw your words
In your face
In the Bible
It says,
'Do not lay
with a man
as one would lay
with a woman..''
Leviticus 18:22
Where does it say it's wrong to love her?
Where does it tell me not to be gay?
That says nothing about me.
I'm not a man
I'm a woman
And I love her
If men were meant to be with women
And women for men
Then loving her
Wouldn't exist
But it does
And
I love her
I guess
In order to understand
The power of
True love
You would have to step out
Of your narrow mind
I love her
With all that I am
And all that I'll be
I was given a heart
And I was taught to love
I wasn't handed
A manual
That I had to follow
And my heart
Will go it's own way
If loving her
Is a sin
Then let it be known
That loving her
Is the best sin
I've ever committed.
