With thoughtlessness I right to you &
Tell you of my feelings of pain and hurt
I tell you it was you who has caused these
Wounds that run unchecked within my heart
You respond by saying it is not fair…
Fairness what is that?
Who decides what is fair and what is not?
Is it you who decides..
Or maybe it is God who makes the ultimate decision?
You know the God I’m talking about…
The same God who let’s an innocent 7 year old be hit and killed by a driver who had a little too much to drink the hour before
The same God who let’s that driver get a way with murder by only having to serve a minimum sentence for driving without insurance…
Since she pled down
What of the child’s family?
Who is going to explain fairness to them?
Can you explain to the child’s family what is fair and what is not?
Can you, in all your arrogance, explain to me what is fair?
If no one can explain God’s definition of what is fair then surely you can not explain yours….

Sadly, I must tell you that I have been very close to this experience. I would never step into anothers' experience however. We all respond personally and that is just what it means. In terms of God though, we are all free to speak of Him as we choose and as we believe, so I will.
I believe God had a plan in the beginning. It was a plan that allowed for freedom of choice, a freedom that we still demand today.
That was fair from his point of view.
He still allows us to make choices, but they all have consequences.
Some good.
Some bad.
It wasn't His hand on the bottle, and it wasn't His hand on the wheel.
But He gets the blame.
Let's consider the choices the driver made and put the blame where it belongs.
