 I just can't seem to forget her
There's a brick on the accelerator

She lies like leaves off the trees
Every color I can think of
Such pretty words
Soft across my ears
I breathe them deep as they burn;
They bury my fears...
But, in the end, they are dead as anything,
As everything
Except my love.

Let me kiss you goodbye, then;
In an explosion of flames and gas
Splintered wood and shattered glass

Relationship= the growth and beauty of a fall tree versus a car wreck--damn woman, I hate that this is painfully beautiful imagery and mirrors life--very well done--

Wonderful imagery! Some relationships are just fatal even though we may smell it from the start (and we fearlessly crash). They can be so exhilarating, there is a brick on the accelerator ! Even total destruction doesn't seem to solve the relentless love or passion in our heart. Tell me about it!!!

I really like the parallels between the strophes that you create in many of your poems. I always take a read matching the corresponding lines from the different strophes. Every time, I discover another great dimension.

It's a beautiful write.
