Laughs Noni we are both getting far too cynical in our dotage! I'm glad you liked it, to be honest I've never sworn in a poem before so it was quite liberating.
Hope can be a nasty little grimy swine - leaves us hanging over the cliff edge staring at the rocks below... then too often getting dashed on them. Actually, the impact on the rocks is seldom as agonising as the FEAR of it (ie the hope) so yes, let's club together and shoot that cow Pandora!
