a smile that Crest can't improve
she’s so striking
when she’s smiling
slightly crooked
sharpened canines
and a silver cap
on the upper left
her shiny bicuspids
are complete with
perfectly arched
healthy gumlines
surrounded in
pillow pale lips
the flesh of watermelon
soft and smooth
no need
for chap stick
and her dimples
accessorize
her sincerity
like quotation marks
highlighting
the “i want you”
that whispers
through
the small gap
between her
two front teeth

thank you Cookie-Doe! long time no comment. i miss you and your poetry. and thank you. i'm glad you enjoyed it. it's one of my favorite poems as of late. i'm working on a small-press magazine with a few friends and they chose this to go in our first anthology. <3
