You tell me to go away,
To leave you to your musings.
Yet your eyes beg, don’t leave me.
Don’t ever leave.
I hover, waiting.
Waiting to hear you voice the emotions
Swirling, cycling through your eyes.
You know I can read you like a book,
Yet you lock in your gaze, challenging
Channeling your silent desire,
All while telling me to leave,
To leave you alone
In your world of musings.

I can relate to this on the other side, being a brooding introvert myself, it takes a very patient and persistent woman to penetrate our "world of musings". Hang in there.... _________________ shemovesme.wordpress.com
