Self-reminder

People walk in and out of our lives
some stay awhile
making their presence known
while others come and go
leaving a faint scent
a frail trail of their glow

The ones that stay
lingers longer
they help us keep our fears at bay
they are the ones we turn to
when the sky turns gray

Being touched by their presence
we find inner strength
we start believing again
and start trusting ourselves

Be mindful of those people
the ones who stay awhile
the ones who have touched your life
don’t forget to thank them
by praying for them each night

I believe everyone who crosses our path leaves something behind and I believe they have an effect on our lives...it may be the smallest and moste minute effect but it is there and becomes a part of us for better or worse.
