 You ever have that feeling...
Almost a sickness in your stomach.
Overwhelming desire
Could even be described as a need.

You want to take her for granted.
Because you so hope this is forever...
That there will never again be a new beginning.
To relax into the abyss that is 'lifetime lovers'

But to relax may be to pay less attention
And risk those special moments becoming less frequent.
Like catching the glint in her eye across the room..
Or the touch of your breast against her as you pass

Those long, slow, tender kisses...
Silent, barely breathing, consuming....savouring.
Gradually emotions forcing the blood to rush.
The softness of her lips etched onto yours

A gift so precious and rare
Must be nurtured, tended and cared for.
More so even than the most delicate orchid.
To assume it will just grow, and flourish - would be foolish.


To feel the way that you do is perfect.
It is natural and right to be afriad of losing
that which is most special; which lights up your world.
Hold her in your arms, brush her cheek with your fingertips

Allow yourself to show her, to share the emotions within.
Don't be put off, love never pushed anyone away.
That fear you both feel can be smothered, and replaced by fulfillment.
The sharing of hopes, and of dreams, and a future so perfect.

Together, hand in hand...hearts and minds interlinked.
It all becomes so easy.
That laughter and temptation, once again paving the way.
To your lifetime together - which is only some small steps away.
