for little light...
I used to be an unbeliever
of things the naked eyes could not see
I want everything tangible
with form, shape and melody
I locked myself up in a tower
an impregnable wall
no one was allowed to enter
not even a single soul
I’ve kept my emotions guarded
my heart in a gilded cage
I was afraid of getting hurt
afraid of being swept
But then she came along
this creature pure and true
an angel with a tainted past
the life she led was full of hue
She’s like a breath of fresh air
her smile was like a balm, that soothed my weary soul
hers is a tender touch
light as feather not more
But this angel is wary
she does not know her worth
if only I could show her
that she’s worth more than her weight in gold
She flutters about
flapping her black wings
glorious and ethereal
this angel of my dreams
How I long to be with her
to whisper sweet nothings in her ear
to hold her close to my heart
and make her feel the warmth within
I was touched by an angel
knowing her has changed me
now I’m no longer afraid, I will let love find me
and in her arms I shall find rest

No, she's not a Red Indian. She's a Love Goddess.
