pellucid phone calls and promises to my imperfect heart
I'm a
fragile woman
my body desires: to rustle beneath you
velvet crushed
my heart is stilled
limpid
again
she pushes the red pellet inside
kneading the bud
finding the cure
until my heart
is filled
and
i become
moist and pasted
found out
her daily phone calls:
uncover me
in my self-imposed poverty
this prison swings
Open
the bars offer
a carillon rush
i'm afraid
to be seen { i tell her}
she doesn't ask why
instead she thrusts flowers into my ears
that curve into my soul
we talk
of nameless things
we know
the other
by her unique tone of voice
can feel
the kabomb
or sadness
behind each word
we are not hindered by the
often distracting
face
she moves my world
helps me to own: fragile delicate sensitive
makes me vow to find my strength there
in these qualities
i was born with
desires my vulnerability
as a lantern for myself and for her
trust me, she says
i let her blindfold me
and walk towards the sound of her
Love.

Re: pellucid phone calls and promises to my imperfect heart
My word, woman. This kind of relationship can't be easy to illuminate the way that you have just done.
And the words you have chosen...
pellucid, moist and pasted, carillon, kabomb(!), lantern
and
instead she thrusts flowers into my ears
that curve into my soul
When you set about writing a poem, Ophelia, you aren't fragile, you
flex.
...but, in your own lyrical, sensual way.
Well done.

"I'm a

your writing oozes sensuality...i stand in awe...I should dream of being able to put things that way...
by the way the title was what caught my eye...i love it
