I often wonder
if the knight ever tired
of playing at courtly love
and upon returning to
the room of men
found his ardor
to be only rage
For it is exhausting to
maintain properness
doing right only for
the sake of rightness
shunning want and need
in favor of romantic worship
I grow tired of playing
at knighthood
each frustrated dawn
brings me closer
to banditry
shunning rightness
in favor of taking
what I want and need _________________ At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet. - Plato

Whoa...what an interesting concept Lost Soul. I don't believe that anything that we are 'playing' at, as oppsed to actively 'living' it, can work long term.
