 defiant, i get defiant,
i go shopping for motorcycles,
I move on to the personal ads,
25 year olds who want to party,
but dammit, there's some ad
that's not an ad, it's a poem,
some femme saying why
the fuck don't you tell me
you just don't care, some
sad poem about frenching
a blue sky red, so drenching
with longing, that i'm just cursing,
I could go to Samarkand, and
I swear to god, every woman's
eyes above or without the veil
would be yours, every voice
would be yours, reminding me
of how, wherever I go, I'm on
my knees begging you to please
just let me, oh what the hell's
the use of being defiant?
