Dreams
Lying in a hospital bed
I seem to have lost the will to live
In my deleriom state I cry
for my one true love to be by my side
she comes to me like a flower in the night
My love, my angel, my darling bride
holding my hands she cries
when you get well I will be by your side
We will go home together is what I hear
when i awake and see my dear
No I whisper in my dying breath
The sacrafice made was not yours to give
It was not I or our son the reason for this
It was not us being that made me not live
The sacrafice was mine, mine to give
I was to leave not you my sweet
It was for you not me that this sacrafice be made
You are too live your life and I to the grave
Too be so young and trapped so soon
A wife a mother that was our doom
You are my soulmate and this is true
But I was not yours to be I moan in gloom
Im sorry my love it is I who was supposed to leave
for my love for you was only supposed to be a dream
You are too live your life you see
The life the gods gave you not the life with me
For you are my soul mate but I am not yours
Too be so young and trapped so soon
I leave you now but only to give you peace
So you may live your life and have your dreams
The sacrafice is mine and now I shall make
Because to show you my true love I will not hesitate
I let you go, go in peace
This is my gift to you my sweet
I spend the last of my hours in tears
Knowing I will never have you was always my fear
But I know this is right for I to live in pain
So that you may live your dream once again.
To have the life you wanted and chose
Maybe our next life we will be betrothed
Until then my love I will leave you be
Never to bother you again the pain I will not see
Ive hurt you to much
I say with my dying breath
So this sacrafice I make for you is true loves test
To prove my love and faith in you

Sighs sadly and wipes a tear away. I am so sorry luv, but as I told you this shows more than anything you could ever say. This truelly says I love you. I am happy you wish her well. I luv you both and so hope you both find happiness soon. Wipes your tears away and kisses your cheek. Don't let the pain kill you though. You can still live - as you know I say this with complete understanding. Take care of yourself luv, I'm always here whenever.
The poem by the way was very beautiful and touching to the soul.

When your wife leaves you have to let her go. This was my way of doing it and one of my faves. I love her very much. I will always be in love with her and a year later I love her more than I ever did even though she is three states away. I wish her all the best of luck and nothing but happiness.
