Knowledge vs. Wisdom
Read, study, memorize and become knowledgable about many things,
but that does not make me wise.
Absorb like a sponge;
words, facts, and figures.
Recite poetry, ponder archaic theology, history and debate our humble beginnings.
Contemplate lifes greatest mysteries and question lifes
many puzzles.
None of these are wisdom nor should they be considered wise.
Knowledge comes from outside in, wisdom from the inside out.
Man grades knowledge...no man grades wisdom,
there is no measure.
Knowledge is the understanding of things.
Wisdom is knowing what or what not to do with that knowledge.
Knowledge can be learned in any classroom or from any book.
Wisdom may only be obtained through experience.
Knowledge can change or be proven wrong at any given moment for it is taught by man.
Wisdom however is never wrong for it comes directly from the source.
I do not care to be as knowledgeable as I do to be wise. _________________ a poets heart is never empty....
